Greetings from the Rouse High School Band Boosters Club!
The Rouse High School Band is quickly becoming one of the prominent music education programs in the State of Texas. In 2017, the Rouse Band advanced for the first time to the UIL State Marching Band Championship Finals, placing 9th overall out of 87 of the best bands in Texas. In 2018, Rouse continued in their pursuit of excellence, winning multiple division titles and caption awards, culminating with the AA Championship win at the Bands of America Super Regional Championship in San Antonio, Texas.
The Rouse Band program continues to excel in musical performance long after the marching season ends. For four consecutive years, Rouse has earned all Division 1 ratings at the UIL Concert and Sight Reading Evaluation, and in 2019 The Rouse Honor Band advanced to the TMEA Honor Band Area Competition.
While the awards are nice, The Rouse Band is a team which recognizes that true success is measured by the unconditional pride and dedication to music education and this program. We sincerely believe in our mantra; “Excellence from Within”. It is this pursuit of excellence that fuels everything the band members are involved in, from academics to visual and musical performance.
With cuts in music education and rising costs associated with this program, it is more critical than ever that we continue to be successful in our fund raising so that this band program is accessible to all who desire the educational and experiential learning opportunities which only band can provide.
Leander ISD and Rouse Band are charged with preparing its students to become college ready, career ready and life ready. Through music, our goals are the same. Our students will achieve greatness in every aspect of the program. We cordially invite you to join us in our cause by becoming a corporate sponsor of the Rouse High School band today!
NEW THIS YEAR! – Rouse Band will be holding its first ever March-a-Thon! On September 21st, students will participate in a four hour non-stop rehearsal, culminating with a free public performance at 7:00pm. Funds raised will help cover many of the operating costs, which help keep program fees affordable for families. This year’s sponsorship drive is closely tied with our March-a-Thon fundraiser and we are offering new sponsorship benefits related to this large community event!
Your support will be greatly appreciated and remembered by many students, parents, and supporters. In addition, our 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization status may make donations to the Rouse Band Boosters Club tax deductible. Please check with a tax advisor.
