The Rouse High School Band program has a long history of success. Just as special as these accomplishments are, so are the relationships built in the band community. Students form lasting friendships, develop as young leaders, and experience memories that will last a lifetime. The bond in each section from woodwinds to brass to percussion to color guard is strong. These students pour their energy and passion into this band program, and it shines through in their performances.
The parents and community that support the band, donate countless hours to help with equipment, travel, meals, and more, all to help the band. Many families and friends travel throughout the state and even across the country to support students as they perform. Alumni frequently attend performances in support of the band. People who become a part of the Rouse Band family are members for life.

Rouse Marching Band
Our marching band is the largest organization in our program incorporating every person from our program. The band not only performs in support of our football team, but marches at several competitions throughout Texas, including state and national competitions. The band is know for classic, creative and crowd pleasing performances that the students enjoy working on and presenting each year.
Concert Bands
Rouse Band is proud to have four concert ensembles. These groups perform a variety of concerts throughout the school year and allow the students to develop their individual musical skills in large ensembles, small ensembles, as well as individual performances. Each group is made up of hard-working musicians that enjoy performing and expressing their musicianship in a variety of ways.
